So the other day I was researching the 2010 Mohican 100K dates (that's 60 miles versus the real 100 mile race for those of you scoring at home). I'm on the NUE website and for giggles I click on the Shenandoah 100 results from this year. First photo I see....some guy in a DarkHorse 40 shirt standing on the podium. (I must say he didn't look quite as excited as the dudes on the lower podiums).So I get to thinking...Monte can win the first time he enters a 100 mile event, what does he have that I don't have? Now I know you're thinking thousands of hours of training, sacrifice and more athletic ability in his big toe than I have in my body, right?
WRONGO!!!! He has ink and I don't. Sure is a lot less painful to have a dragon etched into your calf than train for about 500 hours. SO..............GAME ON!
That had better be henna...Lizzie may have a heart attack!! It's no grim reaper but it's still pretty cool..
